The Malvern Ridge Wall Map is carved from solid maple and engraved with a sharp, clean map design. The two 30cm square maps can be easily hung on the wall.
We use FSC certified staved maple, formed from several solid pieces. The maple is carved to shape based on Ordnance Survey height data. The map is also based on OS data and is engraved onto the shaped surface. It is carefully finished with a natural blend of oils and waxes.
The Malvern Hills are part of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with scenic views over both Herefordshire and Worcestershire. The highest point of the hills is the Worcestershire Beacon at 425 metres (1,394 ft) above sea level. We have captured the most popular section of the ridge running from North Malvern down to the Herefordshire Beacon. The design includes footpaths and a high level of detail.
