Custom Designed Map Box

The Map Box is a beautiful home for your maps – with your own chosen area map engraved onto the front. This pretty box will fit around 20 maps, and is a hand made birch plywood design with a crafty plywood hinge.

It’s a strong and attractive box that, if you don’t have many maps, you could use to keep anything you like – in the words of Winnie the Pooh, it’s “a useful box to put things in”.

Finished with Danish Oil, providing a warm tone and a nice sheen. If you’d like a different type of finish or stained colour, just let us know.

Personalise your Map Box

You can let us know your favourite area, perhaps your home or a place you’ve been, and we will prepare a map which will be engraved onto the front face of the box. We add a title or label key features, and then send you a proof of the map for your approval before making it.

We can also engrave initials on the lid of the box – see the example photo above.
